Roleplay on a MUSH

Roleplay on a Mush first of all requires you create a character.

Once you have your character approved you can enter the IC world, also known as the grid.

There, you can navigate around, and enter a room with other characters to have a 'scene'.

A scene develops by 'poses', in which every player writes what their character does.
Participants in a scene can agree upon a pose-order, if any. During smaller scenes players tend to wait for their turn, if only to allow other characters to respond to your actions.

At the beginning of a scene, or when a new participants enter the scene, a player may 'set the scene': An overview of the situation.

The scene normally ends when all characters leave, or when you decide to 'fade to black', where you either assume nothing of importance happens, or you negotiate what happens via OOC means.

Most MUSH-clients have the option to 'log' a scene, meaning that a transcript is saved.
Please find examples of public scene-logs here.
