Coteries

A 'coterie' is an alliance amongst peer vampires, usually Neonates, who band their collective influences, capabilities, and power together for common protection and prosperity. It is only through coteries that any vampires have been able to exist outside the Camarilla or Sabbat at all for any length of time, given these two Sects' insistence on adopting their values whole cloth. Coteries may form within the Camarilla in areas (where they have not been outlawed) with particularly oppressive Elders. This is very much the case in Los Angeles.
